Hi everyone, I'm Gene, the maker of GetSeenHQ. What inspired it: I build technical products, and every time I launched one I learned who my friends were, not what was wrong with the product. Upvotes and "looks great!" comments feel good for a day, but they don't tell you why someone didn't sign up. The problem I'm solving: founders need honest, specific feedback they can act on. So on GetSeenHQ every product is scored on six axes (market need, distinction, value, timing, onboarding and positioning), and every score has to come with a written reason. Founders reply in public, so you can see who listens and who fixes things. How it evolved: it started narrow, for infrastructure and systems products only, and grew to four lanes: systems, dev tools, web platforms and fintech. Along the way I added things I learned I needed: A Beta / Shipping tag, so reviewers know what they're judging; reviewer rewards for useful critiques, never for positive ones, so nobody is paid to be nice; re-review rounds, so after you ship a fix, past reviewers can re-score you and the change shows up. The thing I held firm on: nobody can pay to rank higher or change a score. I'd genuinely love critique of GetSeenHQ itself. Tell me what's confusing, what's missing, or why you wouldn't use it.
