It is not much long ago that I joined the Getmehired bootcamp program. But from the very beginning I have been very impressed by what the founders have constructed. They have a clearly laid out plan for what the trainees require to succeed. They have a very professional but warm approach to make you comfortable with their teaching environment and their training program and slowly get you going. Not only that, they are committed to help the students solidify their career aspirations by providing highly skilled mentoring in every aspects starting from improving technical abilities to communication skills to legal nitty gritties. I think GetMeHired is something the international student community here in US was in badly in need in these times. I am hopeful that this product will help me reach my goal and aspirations if I can work hard and keep up with the program.

Your graduation is looming close. Your student debt is piling up and you are feeling a real pressure to land a job. But you're an international student, with few options and little to no connections. What are the odds that everything works out *just right*? If only you had your own personal mentor to guide you every step of the job search process, AND help solidify your skillset, AND advise you on immigration issues even after you've landed that dream job. Congratulations, you're in the right place, because GetMeHired is that mentor. Times 20.

So far I had great experience with getmehired bootcamp. Being someone from different background other than CS, I got to learn nooks and cranny about programming, especially Java and REST api system which eventually helped me landing a job as a Java Developer. Beside teaching the necessary elements to become a software developer, getmehired prepared me with efficient job search techniques which included creating ATS friendly resume and building my own website. The support from the mentors helped me choose my career path and helped me to shape up my goals. The enriched network of this bootcamp helped me get in touch with bunch of like-minded tech nerds and I personally made friends through getmefired. I am lucky to be a part of this community and I wish every success of this platform.

No doubt, this is a great initiative to facilitate the international students not only for landing a job, but to guide all the way towards a successful career settlement. Good luck GMH

Great Initiative!! All the mentors are extremely helpful, motivated, and enthusiastic. Being a part of the Bootcamp of this product, I would definitely say that, I learned a significant amount of technical knowledge which is unknown to me before. In addition, they provide excellent guideline and mentorship for job hunting from employees working in renowned companies, and that is really helpful. Best wishes for GetMeHired.

If you search online you will find many courses on Angular. In most of them the instructor tries something and it magically works. From the beginning the requirements are well defined and the instructor smoothly goes to that target product. Those who worked in industry knows the probability of that happening (i.e., near ZERO). You need to go through trial and error to implement something. Requirements change halfway through the project and all the features you implemented don’t get used. In the Angular course of this bootcamp, we try to give such a practical hands on training to the participants. I show the students how to debug things when they are not working and how to modify existing code to address changing requirements. I explain how data flows between Angular part of the application to the service and eventually to a database or file storage. I also discuss how scalability of different parts of a system work and how the Angular part of the application fits into the whole stack. Such hands on understanding close to real life scenarios should help the students not only to land a job but to excel in it.
