AI writes decent slide copy and terrible decks. getdeck hands your model the missing half: 167 layouts and 41 themes it can reason about over MCP, plus the rules for joining them into one coherent deck. No repeats, no drift.

Hey everyone 👋
I kept asking AI to make me a deck. The copy was fine every time.
The deck was not — same layout three slides in a row, no sense of where the argument was going, and I'd end up rebuilding it by hand anyway.
The gap seemed obvious once I saw it: the model can write a slide, but it has no idea what a slide is. It can't tell that a metric wants a different shape than a comparison, or that slide 9 shouldn't look like slide 2.
So getdeck gives it that. 154 layouts and 41 themes, but the useful part isn't the count — it's that each layout carries the constraints a model can actually reason about. A text budget. Density. What it's for, and what it's not for. Connect over MCP and your AI picks with reasons, then assembles the whole thing under one theme instead of handing you slides one at a time.
Being honest about where it is: free to use as much as you want. Pro is $9.99/mo with a 7-day trial, and that's where the composition lives — you give it a topic, it works out the order.
And something I probably shouldn't admit on launch day: I ran all 6,150 combinations through an automated check and some of them break. Text overflows, things collide. I'd rather know the number than pretend it's zero, so that's public too.
Curious what you'd want your AI to get right that it currently doesn't. That's mostly what I've been building from.
