Design a Codex Skin with custom backgrounds, glass panels, colors, and fonts. Preview online, install safely on macOS, and restore in one command.
Downloaded the preview tool and threw a soft gradient background at it, the glass panel effect looks pretty clean on a dark terminal. Curious how it holds up after a few theme swaps though.
One thing I'd love to see is a built-in community gallery where users can share their custom Codex skins. Right now it's hard to discover what others have made, and a simple import-by-username or curated picks section would make trying new looks way more fun.
It would be great if you could add a "share skin" option that exports a small config file or link so I can send my setup to friends without them recreating it manually.
the live preview before installing is such a smart call, basically no risk in trying new looks. love that you can roll back with a single command too
the glass panel preview actually looks pretty close to how it shows up in my terminal, which is honestly rare. nice that i can roll back with one command too
The online preview before installing is such a thoughtful touch, no surprises on how it'll look in your editor. Love that restore command too, makes experimenting feel totally safe.
