Farmers couldn’t reliably reach markets, distributors worked in isolation, retailers faced unstable pricing, and consumers bore the cost of inefficiency. The idea for Genory came from trying to solve this as a systems problem, not just a delivery problem At first, we thought we were building a food marketplace. But as we worked with farmers, food businesses, and distributors, it became clear that marketplaces alone don’t fix broken supply chains. The real gap was infrastructure coordination, data, logistics, and financial flow between every actor in the ecosystem So we evolved into building a Smart Food Ecosystem, a connected layer that integrates sourcing, distribution, and embedded fintech to make food movement more efficient and predictable This shift changed everything from how we design the product to how we think about scale.
