Hey everyone 👋 I built Gattr because I was personally frustrated with how messy saving recipes has become. The idea is simple: use AI to analyze cooking videos on social media and automatically extract the full recipe. I thought it would be “good enough.” It turned out to be surprisingly precise. Ingredients, steps, quantities, even structure. I expanded it to cooking websites too. Many recipe blogs are honestly painful. So many ads, long personal stories before the ingredients, popups everywhere. With Gattr, the AI analyzes the page and rewrites the recipe cleanly and properly structured. Just what you need to cook. Nothing more. I did move fast on the branding, and I’m currently in the process of changing the logo because it doesn’t fit a recipe app, and I do think it's important to have a cooking element in the icon for ASO.
