Gatekeep is an automated theft prevention system for crypto assets. Why I built Gatekeep? Theft is far too common in the crypto space. Over $2 billion is stolen every year and this number keeps increasing. There’s minimal safeguards and no real theft prevention systems that work in real time to protect users. In order to push forth adoption these security systems must be developed. How it Works? Gatekeeps interception system monitors users wallet 24/7 for theft. If a pending theft is detected it triggers two in-house developed open source contracts to transfer the asset to the users safe wallet before the thiefs transaction processes. Gatekeep accomplishes this by frontrunning the thiefs transaction. The two contracts are called Guard ( gatekeep owned ) & Brink ( user owned ) . The Guard Contract acts as a proxy between our secure wallet and the users Brink contract which has approval to move select assets. The Guard contract does not have approval to move the users assets. Its only function is to essentially notify the users Brink contract to initiate a transfer when a theft is in process. The Brink Contract is deployed through the dashboard and owned by the users safe wallet. Users give their own contract approval to transfer assets through the dashboard. The contracts intercept functions can only transfer the asset to the safe address that only the user can set. We never have access to move the asset as we wish or edit variables in the contract.
