I had 126,847 photos in my camera roll when we started building Gallery Guy. I know, I know, but in my defense, it's all my photos (and accidental screenshots ) from the last 12 years. Now I'm at 102k, which may still seem like a lot, but I'm honestly proud of myself for creating a habit of going through my old photos every day. Instead of scrolling, I swipe through my memories. And while I'm at it, I'm getting rid of screenshots, blurry pictures and dozens of similar pictures (because I always think if I take 36 photos, I will choose the best one later).
I'm curious how many photos do you have right now? Have you ever actually managed to clear yours?
Hi everyone! I’m Anežka, co-founder of Gallery Guy.
We built this because my co-founder Batur spent 8 years working with creators and kept watching the same thing happen: the content was ready, but choosing between 20 near-identical photos was killing the momentum. That 20-minute scroll before every post is a real, compounding problem.
Most photo cleaners feel like work. We wanted ours to feel like a game. You swipe through photos like Tinder, run tournaments to choose your best shot, and compare similar photos up close. And the app handles large videos and screenshots automatically.
One more thing: we made a deliberate choice to go one-time purchase. No weekly fees to clean your own phone. You pay once, you own it forever. And there's a bonus: share your invite code with a friend and you'll get 24 hours of unlimited access for free, which is a great way to properly try everything out. ☺️
Everything stays on your device. Always.
Question for the community: what’s the oldest, most random screenshot you found while cleaning your phone? Best answer gets a little surprise from us. 🎁
We would love to hear your thoughts ☺️ Thanks so much for checking us out!
