Hi Product Hunt 👋 I built Fyn because every time I looked into an investment, I ended up with either a wall of charts I couldn't read or a forum thread full of opinions. I wanted something in between: real data, explained in plain language. So Fyn pulls live prices, historical trends, recent news and market sentiment, then gives you a reasoned assessment — favorable, neutral or unfavorable — with the actual reasoning behind it. Every report lists its sources with dates. When data is missing, it says so instead of filling the gap with something that sounds plausible. That last part took the most work: the hard problem wasn't getting the AI to talk, it was getting it to stop making things up. Beyond single analyses, there's a "check my choice" feature that runs objective checks on volatility, entry timing and trend before you commit, a plan generator that builds diversified allocations around your risk profile, and client portfolio tracking with automatic P/L. Built with Next.js, TypeScript, Supabase and OpenAI. Data from CoinGecko, Finnhub, Yahoo Finance, Frankfurter and DefiLlama. Available in English and Italian. To be clear: this is an informational tool, not financial advice. It won't predict the market — nothing can. It helps you understand what the data actually says. I'd love feedback on two things: is the analysis genuinely useful, or does it read as generic? And what's missing that would make you actually use it? Happy to answer anything.

Love how transparent the source-listing is, that alone builds a lot of trust. One thing I'd really appreciate is a scenario simulator, let me stress-test a pick against things like a sudden rate hike or a sector-wide drop so I can see how the thesis holds up before committing real money. Would make the "check my choice" step way more useful.

@dustinhend Great suggestion — this is exactly the kind of thing I want Fyn to do. I'm building it now: historical stress testing (worst/median/best rolling window over your chosen horizon), beta against a benchmark, and a market-shock slider showing the estimated impact on your amount.

One honest caveat I'll surface in the UI: historical betas underestimate losses in real crashes, because correlations spike when everything falls together. The simulator will say so rather than pretend otherwise.
