Free multi-currency converter: add USD, EUR, JPY and 140+ currencies into one total at live mid-market rates. 62 pair pages with daily history back to 1971, year and month archives, a calendar-month seasonality table, CSV export, an embeddable rate card and an API. No sign-up.
Hi Product Hunt — I built FX Converter because every converter I found did one pair at a time, and I kept needing a total: salary in one currency, rent in another, savings in a third.
What it does:
• Add several amounts in different currencies and see one total at live mid-market rates, with a chart of how that mix has moved over the past year. State stays in your browser; no account.
• 62 currency pair pages with daily history back to 1971 for the majors, year and month archive pages, and a CSV for any pair or period.
• New this month: a calendar-month table for each pair — the median month-on-month change and how often that month was positive across every year on record. EUR/USD has risen in 36 of 55 Decembers. It's a historical distribution, deliberately not a forecast, and each page says so.
• A one-line embeddable rate card and a small JSON API.
Rates are mid-market references cross-checked against Fed H.10 and ECB data, refreshed about every 10 minutes. It's free and I'd love to hear what history questions the pages still don't answer.
