I kept seeing the same story: someone builds an app in a weekend with AI, it works and looks great, and then it turns out any signed-out visitor can delete other people's data. So I built Furnace. It's a launch-readiness checker for AI-built apps. It reads your code and gives one of three answers: READY, NOT READY, or NOT SURE YET. Every problem comes with a fix and a ready-to-paste prompt for your AI coding tool. What it checks: login and permissions on every route, exposed secrets (including keys deleted from git history), database rules, rate limits, and dependency vulnerabilities. What makes it different from asking an AI to review your code: - No AI model makes the call. It uses fixed rules, so the result is the same every time. - Your code is not sent anywhere for the code check. - It says "not sure" when it isn't sure. A wrong "ready" is the worst outcome, so I built it to avoid that. - I tested it on 231 deliberately broken apps. Furnace has not wrongly passed any of them. That's my own test set, not an independent audit, so treat it as a starting point. It's an early alpha and has been tested on Windows. Linux is not verified yet.
