Does the app pull prices directly from the official German market transparency data, or are you relying on user reports and partner feeds?
@aliye178259 Prices come from the official German market transparency data, not user reports or partner feeds. FuelNow uses the Tankerkönig API, which publishes prices reported by stations under the Markttransparenzstelle für Kraftstoffe (MTS-K) framework. We fetch on demand when you open the map, move, or refresh, and we refresh in the background while you’re driving so prices stay reasonably current.
We don’t crowdsource prices. If something looks wrong, you can flag it from a station’s detail screen and we forward that to Tankerkönig for review.
the live price updates actually feel snappy and the widget on the home screen saves me a tap every morning. nice touch putting CarPlay and Apple Watch on equal footing instead of treating them like afterthoughts.
@cuma59h2 Glad the live updates feel snappy. That was a big focus: background refreshes while you’re on the move, plus a home screen widget so you don’t have to open the app every morning.
CarPlay and Apple Watch were meant to feel like real companions, not add-ons. Same nearby stations and prices, just where you already are: in the car or on your wrist.

Wie aktuell sind die Preise eigentlich, werden die in Echtzeit von den Tankstellen gepullt oder gibt es da eine Verzögerung von ein paar Minuten?
@mahmut1q6d Die Preise sind immer sehr aktuell, in CarPlay kann es eine Verzögerung von ca. 1-2 Minuten geben.
