Zac Myers
Hi Hunters, My name is Zac Myers and I am one of the two cofounders for Fuddle, a social media app that brings people together to play sports. 💡 How we started I grew up playing competitive basketball; it’s always been a part of who I am. Back in September 2021, I was sitting in my car and had a thought to myself: “Man, I really wish I knew where people were playing pickup games at.” I had a eureka moment and decided to build an app to find pickup games. Over time, the idea grew and morphed into what Fuddle is today, and I am proud to say where we are and how far we’ve come. ❓ What does Fuddle do? Our goal is to help you Find Your Huddle. On Fuddle, you can easily create local sports events for other users to join, such as a pickup game, training, or tryout. You can also build your social media profile, make posts, and follow other people and your favorite event creators. Fuddle currently has five sports to choose from: basketball, volleyball, baseball, soccer, and football. Fuddle is 100% free to use. There are no fees for using Fuddle. ⏱ What’s next We just launched our MVP for iOS on May 22nd. We will be launching on Android later this week. We currently have 100 registered users and are continuing to grow. This upcoming fall, we'll be incorporating Paid Events, which are events that the creator can charge a fee to attend (such as personal training or a tryout). ✨ How are we different? "Sports meetup" apps have tried and failed before. The reason they fail is because they have no social atmosphere - the "pickup games" are just flat, bland events. Fuddle incorporates social circles and social credibility to encourage users to use the app and ultimately attend more sporting meetups. ---- We would love to hear any feedback you have!
