I wanted to check whether I'd clear Canada's Federal Skilled Worker threshold. Every calculator I found wanted my email first. The ones that didn't were lead-capture forms for immigration consultancies, and several were still scoring against the NOC 0/A/B occupation categories IRCC retired in 2022 — quietly giving people wrong answers. It's a 100-point grid with six inputs. It should not require an account. So I built it in a weekend. No sign-up, nothing stored, no ads, no funnel.

No sign-up, nothing stored, no funnel. The hard part wasn't the code — it was that the rules refuse to behave like a function. Adaptability caps at 10 however many categories apply. Language isn't averaged, so one weak ability disqualifies you outright regardless of total. My first pass smoothed those into something reasonable, which is exactly wrong.
