As someone experienced in frontend engineering, I can attest that project-based learning reigns supreme. Simply watching YouTube videos and reading blogs won't cut it; you need to dive in and experiment. Frontend Mentor stands out as an excellent resource for individuals like myself to tackle projects that span from simple to complex, allowing for a deeper understanding of nuanced concepts. Kudos to Frontend Mentor for their valuable contribution!

As a frontend engineer myself, I can definitely say that learning through projects is the best approach one cane do. Watching countless hours of YouTube videos and reading blogs alone won't work. You have to get your hands dirty. I think Frontend Mentor is a good starting point for people like me to build some projects to learn nuanced concepts ranging from easy to difficult. Keep up the good work !

Would definitely recommend, I think the greatest thing about what you've built is the community. I'm a low touch user, but when I first got curious about design, this was my safe space. When I do stalk the slack, I always see people comfortable to share their progress and help someone out.

This looks great. I also teach a coding course to university students and can definitely see the need for practical, hands-on examples that replicate the "real-world" coding environment. This product gives people the practice and skills they are after. Design is really slick too!

Since I’ve started using Frontend mentor I felt my skills were improving project after project. I’ve started building newbie and junior projects, and today I’m in the hard/advanced level. I really recommend the platform to anyone who wants to level up their skills on frontend development. Thank you Matt!

For those just starting out it's a perfect place to learn and get real world practice, as you don't have to worry about design or content, everything is provided for you so you can focus on your technical skills regarding front end. It would have been amazing to have such a platform while I was learning front end. Even for experience developers, the challenges and practice makes it fun to play around and experiment. I love that there is no strict technology stack and you can structure your code and use whatever stack you want. The community is amazing and very welcoming! Definitely great platform with specific purpose.

Frontend Mentor is a must for anyone looking to practice and enhance their frontend skills. It's not only a great resource to learn real-life development workflow but also to connect and network with other developers (of all skill levels) from around the world and to engage in code reviews and meaningful feedback. The community is active, helpful and resourceful. The best part - you get cool projects to showcase on your portfolio, especially for those just starting out. I'm amazed by the continued enhancement and development of the product in the short time that I have been a part of it. Thank you @_mattstuddert for creating a fun and friendly space for developers to come together!
