FretTrack is repair shop workflow software for guitar and bass technicians: intake, jobs, photos, damage maps, inventory, scheduling, customer documents, and shop records.
I built FretTrack because my own repair workflow was a mess in exactly the way real guitar repair workflows become a mess: paper tickets, PDF repair sheets, Zoho invoices, notebook notes, text messages, random photos, loose parts lists, missing intake details, and bench work that needed to be tracked while my hands were actually on an instrument.

FretTrack development update 🎸
We’ve been heads-down turning FretTrack from a working beta into something we’re comfortable putting in front of real repair shops.
Recent updates include a new Pro amplifier repair workflow, scheduled customer emails, improved job and technician workflows, stronger billing and subscription handling, automatic scheduling integration, expanded localization, and continued improvements across inventory, photos, invoicing, and shop management.
A major focus lately has also been reliability and security. We’ve expanded automated browser testing with Playwright, added local database and multi-shop testing, hardened concurrent job saves and scheduled-email processing, strengthened Stripe handling, and continued auditing permissions and shop-data isolation.
FretTrack is currently at 0.2.9-beta.6, with active beta testing helping uncover the wonderfully obscure edge cases that only appear once actual humans start using software.
The goal hasn’t changed: build shop-management software specifically around the way guitar repair shops actually work, rather than forcing repair shops into generic POS or ticketing software.
We’re getting substantially closer to the paid release.

We had to push the real launch to the end of August due to not enough beta tester feedback. However, this product is still very much alive and will be released. I have testers now, and have received great feedback.
