We built the FreeWWW Barcode Generator because creating a properly formatted barcode often requires specialized software, limited online tools, or paid exports. The project began with basic Code 128 generation. We expanded it to support 20 barcode formats for retail, inventory, shipping, industrial, healthcare, and packaging use cases. We also added customizable dimensions, colors, text styling, transparent backgrounds, live previews, keyboard shortcuts, and recent history. For larger tasks, we introduced batch generation with validation and bulk PNG downloads. Users can also export individual barcodes as PNG, SVG, or JPEG, print them, or copy the image and SVG code.
