Freetime is an iOS application that makes it easier to discover, track, and share the media you’re consuming. Build lists to track movies, tv, books, podcasts, YouTube, board games, music, and apps. Share those lists and your consumption with friends
We consume a lot media. Movies, tv, books, podcasts, you name it... We’re in the golden age of media consumption.
When’s the last time you asked a friend, family member, or colleague what they’re watching, reading, or listening to? Probably very recently.
Why?
There’s so much choice and recommendations from the people you care about mean more.
Freetime is an iOS application that makes it easier to discover, track, and share the media you’re consuming.
How it works:
1. Search for content (movies, tv, books, podcasts, YouTube videos/channels, board games, music, and apps)
2. Add content to lists (Typical lists would include "Movies recommended by Josh" or "Tech Podcasts I've been wanting to try")
3. Log activity as you complete them
Some awesome other goodies:
- As you log activity, you're activity tab will show you what you've logged this week, this month, this year, all-time.
- Freetime is social. You can view profiles of other users using Freetime and see their activity over the week, month, year, all time as well as the lists they're building. Follow your friends to fill up your feed to get inspiration on what to watch/read/listen to.
- Freetime is collaborative. We all have that one friend who knows everything about every movie ever created. Share a list with him or her to add to that list together.
- Featured lists. Check out the second tab on the app. A growing collection of featured lists for you to discover new content.
