AzeeMed's Freer Septum Elevator is used for periosteal elevation in septoplasty procedures and for the separation of the the temporalis fascia in myringoplasty. It is also used in Functional Endoscopic Sinus Surgery (FESS) for the identification of the uncinate process. This instrument come's with 20.5 cm – 8" of overall length

how does the 8 inch length feel when doing deeper FESS cases, any ergonomic grip options?
The 8 inch length gives you nice reach without feeling clumsy in tight nasal passages, and the tip glides cleanly along periosteum during septoplasty. Seems well balanced for FESS work too.
The dual-ended tip shape on this freer elevator is genuinely well thought out, especially for getting into the uncinate process during FESS. The 20.5 cm length also feels right in the hand for septoplasty work.
