Freelancer Bill is a simple tool designed to help freelancers manage invoices, quotes, and payment tracking in one place. It reduces the need for spreadsheets and scattered tools, making it easier to stay organized and keep track of client work and payments.
I built Freelancer Bill because I kept running into the same problem while freelancing: managing quotes, invoices, and payment tracking across spreadsheets, notes, and messages.
It wasn’t a complex problem, but it was constantly slowing me down and breaking focus during actual client work.
So I decided to build a very minimal tool just for this workflow — something simple enough that I would actually use it every day.
It’s still early, and I’m mainly looking for feedback from other freelancers:
What do you currently use to manage invoices and payments?
What part of the workflow is most frustrating for you?
I’d really appreciate any feedback or suggestions.

Thanks so much for all the feedback so far.
I’m collecting real freelancer workflows while improving Freelancer Bill. If you manage quotes, invoices, or payment tracking manually, I’d love to hear what your current setup looks like — spreadsheet, Notion, accounting tool, or something else?
Happy to share what I’m building and learn from your workflow.

Love that it keeps quotes, invoices, and payment tracking all in one place without feeling cluttered. Really solid execution for a tool aimed at solo work.

@idemodrb Thank you.Really glad that came through. My goal was exactly to keep quotes, invoices, and payment tracking in one clean place without adding clutter.
Would love to hear if there’s anything you think could make the workflow even better for solo freelancers.
