👋 Hey Product Hunt community!I’m the maker behind PrinterFlo. We talk to sign and print shops every day, and one of the biggest bottlenecks they face is quoting on the fly. Most shops are stuck re-typing complex material costs, square footage dimensions, and finishing extras like lamination or grommets into messy, broken spreadsheets. We wanted to change that, so we built the Sign Price Calculator, a free tool that runs 100% in your browser with zero signups or gates.
You can dynamically adjust widths, heights, add-on labor rates, and custom markups to see your exact margins and final retail price instantly. The best part? The backend uses the exact math engine that powers our core software platform, PrinterFlo, which automatically saves these rates and turns them into client-facing quotes.I’d love for local shop owners, designers, or anyone handling wide-format print media to give it a spin. Let me know what features or common print materials we should add to our defaults next!

How does it handle custom material costs if a print shop has supplier prices that vary weekly, or is everything locked to preset material rates?

@dndpocp Nothing's locked to presets... you set your own material rates (per sq ft, per sheet, whatever unit) in a pricing screen, and update them anytime your supplier costs change. Quotes already sent lock in the price/cost at the moment they were created, so re-pricing materials never changes a quote a customer already has.
