Drawliner is a browser-based PDF markup and takeoff tool for contractors and estimators. Measure lengths, areas, volumes, and counts. Add annotations, set scale, export to Excel. No install. No subscription. Free. Topics: Productivity Construction Design Tools SaaS
Hey Product Hunt! š
I built Drawliner because I kept running into the same problem ā I needed to do a quick PDF takeoff but didn't have Bluebeam installed on the machine I was using, or didn't want to pay $349/year for occasional jobs.
So I built a browser-based alternative. Here's what it does:
š Measurements ā length, area, volume, angle, count, perimeter
š Scale calibration ā draw a line over any known dimension, set your real measurement
šļø Markup tools ā arrows, clouds, rectangles, polygons, highlighter, stamps, signatures
š Excel export ā full takeoff table with quantities, labels, layers
šļø Organization ā layers, spaces, statuses (In Progress, Complete, For Review, Rejected)
Everything runs in the browser. No account required to get started.
The honest limitations right now: no real-time collaboration yet, projects save locally (no cloud sync). Those are coming.
Try it at https://drawliner.com ā would love your feedback, especially from anyone who does estimating or site reviews professionally.
Happy to answer any questions!
