Point Framelingo at a video — upload it or paste a link — and get subtitles in the language you need, timed to the words people actually say. Timing comes from the audio, so lines do not drift and nothing gets merged. Download thesrt to reuse, or take the burned-in video ready to post. Chinese, Spanish, Japanese, Korean, German, French, Portuguese and 100+ more — for TikTok, Shorts, Reels, YouTube and screen recordings.

Hi Product Hunt. I built Framelingo because I kept running into videos I wanted to understand but could not read: a conference talk in German, a cooking channel in Japanese, a documentary in Spanish.
So the app does one thing. You drop in a clip or paste a link, choose the language you want, and you get subtitles or a burned-in video. The timing is read from the audio itself, so every line lands on the words as they are spoken, and nothing drifts or gets nudged by hand. When a video already carries hardcoded subtitles, the new track sits above them instead of covering them up.
Free for clips up to 60 seconds, no signup, no watermark. Longer videos run on credits.
Two things I would love feedback on: which language pairs you need most, and whether a batch mode for whole channels would actually help. Ask me anything, I am here all day.
