How well does the onion skinning handle when you jump back to tweak a frame that was drawn several layers deep in the timeline?
@hseyinrhrd Yes. Onion skinning updates dynamically based on the frame you're editing, so if you jump back several frames in the timeline, it will show the surrounding previous and next frames relative to that frame. This makes it easy to refine earlier parts of an animation without losing context.
Does the onion skinning only reference the previous frame, or can you adjust how many frames back and forward it shows while you draw?
@filizmzyd Yes! You can adjust it. Onion skinning isn't limited to just the previous frame—you can choose how many previous and next frames are visible while drawing. You can also control the opacity, so it's easy to find the right balance for your animation workflow.
How well does the onion skinning handle when you're working with a ton of layers at once, any lag or slowdowns in the browser?
@tuncayyapucu Thanks for asking! In our testing, onion skinning has been smooth even with projects that have a lot of layers.
Finally tried this and the onion skinning actually feels right out of the box, which surprised me. Layering plus timeline in a browser without lag is genuinely useful for quick sketches.
@hayrettinkx3ve Thanks for trying it out! Glad the onion skinning felt right out of the box. We put a lot of work into keeping the timeline and layers responsive in the browser, so it's great to hear it's helping with quick sketches. Thanks for the feedback!
Does the onion skinning let you adjust how many frames back and forward it shows, or is it a fixed number?
@emirhan265511 Yes, it's fully adjustable. You can choose how many previous and next frames are shown, as well as adjust the onion skin opacity to suit your workflow.
