Hello everyone, I am Deepak. The maker of FoundersPlaySchool and Orcaso.io. When I decided to start my own business, I didn't have formal business education and weren't affordable either. Most of my learning came through, reading stories of startups, both successful and unsuccessful. I write my own case studies, giving myself a perspective of the decision maker in the story. While it was informative, it was something I enjoyed trying to understand decisions, product, and marketing strategies, and breaking them to know the "why" part. Last week, at a local event, I illustrated a couple of those stories to the neighbourhood and plenty found it useful.
Since ages, I have the vision of building a school where makers, entrepreneurs, and mad scientists meet and build new products. No teachers, just a space filled with all the resources and right people.
It all has to begin somewhere, a playschool maybe. Subscribers will receive one story a day and an "if you were to" quest to discuss with other students in the slack channel room.
If plenty finds this useful, we can put more thought into this and make it even better. We don't need money to learn, just the desire to improve ourselves.
