Hey Product Hunt! 👋
I'm Patrick Jane, the maker behind Founders Feed.
Founders Feed is the information exchange terminal for founders: one daily briefing that keeps you on top of your niche without the 30-minute morning tab marathon. Here's what it actually does:
📰 A daily edition of tech news with every story scored by signal, so the stuff that matters rises to the top 🎯 The lens: your feed is personalized to your role, your stack, and what you're building, and each story gets a "why it matters" written for you, not a generic blurb 📡 Sentinel watches your sources around the clock so nothing slips past you 🔭 Scout goes out and discovers stories beyond your usual sources, based on what you're working on 🔌 Follow your own sources (RSS, YouTube, Reddit, HN and more) and pull them into one place ⌨️ A terminal you can actually talk to: ask questions about the day's edition and get answers on the spot
On price: it's $9.99/month, and honestly I think that's a steal. It's less than a coffee a week for something that saves you time every single morning and is tuned to exactly what you're building. Compare that to the hours you lose hunting across five tabs, or to the $400-a-year research subscriptions out there. There's a full free tier too, so you can start without paying anything. (Annual is $89.99, which works out to roughly 3 months free.)
One thing I'm genuinely excited about: every signed-up user gets free access to the universal forum inside Founders Feed. It's a shared space where you can talk to other founders, discuss what's happening, and give me feedback directly. No paywall on it.
And that's my real ask. I'm actively building Founders Feed right now, and I'm going to be living in two places: the Founders Feed forum and here on Product Hunt. Your feedback is what decides where this goes next. So if any of this sounds useful, it would genuinely help me if you signed up and told me what you think. Even one honest note changes what I build tomorrow.
Thanks for checking it out 🙏 I'll be around, ask me anything.

Love the concept of a lensed feed tuned to what I'm building. One thing that would really help: let me flag the noise. A simple thumbs up or down on a story so Sentinel learns what my niche actually looks like, not just the keywords I picked at signup. That feedback loop would make the signal-to-noise ratio way sharper over time.

@kellykapoorr That's a really great idea Kelly. Thanks alot for the insight. Sentinel would be way more useful if it can grasp your preferences. Btw, did you sign up for Founders Feed. All signed up users gain access to the universal forum where you can discuss stuff and post feedback about Founders Feed too.

The signal scoring idea sounds genuinely useful for cutting through startup noise. One thing I'd love to see is a quick way to mute or down-rank certain sources or topics for a few days. Sometimes I want to temporarily ignore fundraising news or a specific competitor while I'm heads-down on a launch, and a snooze control would make the feed feel even more tailored to what matters that week.

@serena_poon Thats a real catch there Serena. Giving users control over their feed is one of our main goals instead of relying on algorithms. Will look into its implementation. Btw, did you sign up for Founders Feed. All signed up users gain access to the universal forum where you can discuss stuff and post feedback about Founders Feed too.
