I get a lot of requests coming from my family, friends, and relatives for advice in building a website. Yet, for all this time, there really is no mainstream software that I could recommend them to setup a website in minutes. Framer and Webflow are great software for professionals. The downside is that it has a high learning curve for someone who just wanted to setup their portfolio or agency websites. Squarespace, on the other hand, is widely considered as an excellent choice for its simplicity. However, the biggest weakness is that it is too limited and rigid in its customization. I want to give the opportunity to everyday people—non-coders, designers, creatives—to showcase their own websites without the complexity and the architecture of the old days. Thus, I took inspiration from Notion’s block-based elements, Figma’s powerful capabilities, and Canva’s drag-and-drop simplicity to build a web editor a lot of us dreamt of having. And we’re not stopping there! As a future enhancement to our platform, we plan to develop databases, opening up even more opportunities for implementation. A custom database will allow users to structure their own CMS. And by designing their own input fields, users might as well ditch Google Forms.
