Formscape Travel is an English-first China trip planner built for the messy parts most travel apps miss: local map context, Chinese names and driver-ready addresses, curated routes, PDFs, SOS/allergy cards, and practical guidance for payments, transport, maps, and emergencies.

How do the PDF and SOS cards actually work in practice, like do they update in real time or is it just static templates I fill in before I go?
@semiheo1h Thanks for asking!
The PDF is generated from your current itinerary, so it works as an offline snapshot rather than updating in real time. If you change the route, you can export a fresh version. The SOS cards are ready-to-show bilingual cards for practical situations such as allergies, directions, or asking for help, so you can pull them up quickly when needed. The translation cards can be pre-filled and saved before the trip. You can also use this function while traveling, as it translates within seconds.
A translate-back toggle for the Chinese names would be huge, especially for showing taxi drivers or store staff a quick screenshot of your destination in characters. Could also help with reading menus or signs when you're out exploring.
@tugbarm43189 Great suggestion. The destination cards already include the Chinese name and local address for showing drivers or staff, but a dedicated translate-back toggle could make the interaction even faster. I like the idea of extending it to menus and signs while exploring. Adding this to the feedback list!
The Chinese address copy is genuinely useful for showing to a cab driver, something I always struggled with. Curious how the curated routes hold up across less-touristy cities.
The Chinese name and address conversion alone is worth it for anyone who has fumbled through a taxi ride in Shanghai. The SOS card feature is a genuinely smart touch that I haven't seen elsewhere.
@kadervm1i Thank you! Yes, the Chinese name and address issue was one of the main reasons I built this Web App. It seems like a small detail until you are standing beside a taxi trying to explain where you need to go. I’m really glad the SOS cards stood out to you as well.
Finally a China trip planner that gets the frustrating stuff right. The Chinese address formatting for drivers alone would have saved me so many headaches on past trips.
@tyondas80052 Thank you! That frustration inspired a lot of this product. I’m glad that part feels useful!
