I built FormatGo because I kept running into the same problem with HEIC photos from my iPhone: many websites and tools still don’t accept the format. I wanted one place where I could quickly view a HEIC file, convert it to a more widely supported format, or compress it when needed. One thing I cared about was giving users a choice in how their files are processed. Privacy mode handles conversion directly in the browser without uploading the images, while Cloud mode is available for cases where server-side processing or ZIP input is more useful. FormatGo currently supports HEIC/HEIF conversion to JPG, PNG, WebP and PDF, along with a HEIC viewer and compression tool.
