Hey everyone,
Just wanted to share my latest project.
After working for more than 6 years with WordPress, we've seen plenty of visual builders. However, many of them were clucnky, cumbersome, or just not the right way. The fact that most of them worked on the back-end was jarring.
So I started working on a new kind of page builder. I spent a few months last year envisioning what would be like to work with an invisible UI. Then I managed to release the first version on November 2015. A lot of people have liked it so far, so I guess I'm on the right path! Here is the result of almost a full year of hard work.
Forge is primarily a front end page builder. It works directly on the layout of any WordPress site, so you can see at all times what you're creating. Besides that, it's built for speed-- there are lots of keyboard shortcuts, and the UI is designed to be used as fast as possible. As an experiment, I managed to redesign my personal blog homepage in 34 minutes flat.
Beyond that, Forge is designed to be highly extensible. I am now working on multiple plugin extensions, which provide plenty of extra functionality. The best part is that just about any WordPress developer can extend it and add its own code to it.
