Hey — made this after a friend who shoots weddings called me in a panic because her camera's battery died mid-ceremony and the file wouldn't open in anything. The footage was all still on the card, byte for byte, but every recovery tool she found wanted her to upload a 90GB file somewhere first — which, for a stranger's wedding footage, felt like the wrong answer even before you get to how long that upload would take. So I spent a while reverse-engineering the actual container format these cameras write, and built something that does the reconstruction in the browser instead.
