FontSafe

Hi! Thank you for checking out FontSafe. The idea of the app might seem a little simple, but as I've found, this is actually a pretty rare kind of idea. I have about 1,000 fonts installed on my Mac, and so the default Apple Font Book was not doing it. It was sluggish, took forever to launch, and took even longer to load, let alone scroll through. And when I looked online for free third party font books, I just couldn't find any good ones! And whenever I did, I had to pay for it. That's how FontSafe was born. FontSafe was built in native Swift and Rust, so it's extremely fast, from boot time, to scrolling, to installing a font. It also has one-click access to the Google Fonts and Font Squirrel libraries for almost 3,000 fonts combined, excluding the system fonts. I also often find myself needing a good font pair, which is why I built in an on-device font pairing generator, so it's constantly updated with all the fonts I have installed. I integrated What The Font to quickly find a font from an image, and a type tester too. And this is only 1.0. I have a lot more planned, like a nicer design that fits in with the other apps I'm working on, more robust features for the type tester, a custom Identify Font From Image tool, more customization features, and more.
