Hi Product Hunt — I’m James, the maker of Folde. I originally started building Folde for my wife. We wanted something between a habit tracker, a todo list, and a journal. Most habit trackers felt fast but impersonal. Journaling apps felt meaningful but required too much effort for everyday life. Todo apps often turned life into another inbox. Folde is designed around three natural speeds: • Taps for the things that only need one touch • Todo for what matters today • Moments for stories, thoughts, and photos worth keeping Everything comes together around a quiet calendar, so you can notice patterns without turning every day into a score. Privacy was also important from the beginning. Folde stores personal content locally by default, has no ads or behavioral tracking, and only creates an encrypted backup when the user chooses.
