A two-panel file manager in the spirit of the old desktop commanders. Two folders side by side, function keys at the bottom: F5 copies to the other panel, F6 moves, F7 makes a folder. Works with iPhone storage, iCloud Drive, USB drives and SFTP, FTP or WebDAV servers. ZIP, select by mask, compare folders, find files, tabs, three themes. On iPhone Duo unfolded like a book, each screen holds one panel. Free, no ads, no account, no data collected.

Hi Product Hunt š
I grew up on two-panel file managers: one folder on the left, one on the right, F5 to copy. Files on the iPhone never felt like that, so I built Fold Commander.
Then iPhone Duo came out and the layout finally made sense on a phone: unfold it like a book and each screen holds one panel, with the function keys split underneath so nothing sits on the fold. Open it like a laptop and one panel goes on top, the other one and the keys below. On a regular iPhone the panels stack.
What it does:
⢠Copy, move, rename, delete between iPhone storage, iCloud Drive, USB drives and folders of other apps
⢠SFTP (password or OpenSSH key), FTP and WebDAV servers as regular places ā copy phone ā server or server ā server
⢠Pack and unpack ZIP, select by mask (*.jpg | thumb), compare folders, find files by name or text inside
⢠Tabs in each panel, drag and drop between panels, Classic / Dark / DOS Blue themes
It's free: no ads, no account, nothing collected. Passwords and keys stay in the Keychain on your device.
I'd love to hear what you'd want next ā FTPS, SMB, more archive formats? And if you have an iPhone Duo, tell me how the fold layout feels.
