Hey Product Hunt š
I built FluxShare because moving a file from my phone to my PC had somehow become harder than it was 10 years ago. Cloud uploads are slow and nosy, cables are a hunt, and the popular "share" apps are buried in ads and ask for permissions they have no business wanting.
FluxShare is dead simple: both devices on the same Wi-Fi, pick a file, send. It goes peer-to-peer ā your data never touches a server, never hits the internet. It's end-to-end encrypted with TLS 1.3, there's no account, and there's no size limit (I regularly move multi-GB video between devices at 30+ MB/s).
A few things I'm proud of:
⢠No "all files access" permission ā received files just appear in your Downloads
⢠Pair once, then transfers auto-accept with one tap
⢠Built-in clipboard sync between paired devices
⢠A real Windows desktop app, not just a phone-to-phone thing
It's free, live on Google Play now, with the Windows app at fluxshare.org.
I'd genuinely love your feedback ā what would make this a daily-driver for you? And if there's a platform you want next (it's built on a shared Go core, so macOS/Linux/iOS are all on the table), tell me. I'm here all day answering everything. š
