Flowstep is your AI design assistant, transforming simple prompts into UI designs. Designers and Product Managers use Flowstep to communicate visually, get feedback from users, and ship faster.

Flowstep
👋 Hey Product Hunt!
Matt here - co-founder at Flowstep.
Flowstep turns your ideas into editable UI designs, wireframes, and user flows. It's like having your own AI design assistant.
As designers ourselves, we were tired of traditional design tools slowing us down instead of helping us explore faster. Our vision isn’t to replace your creativity. It’s to amplify it by removing tedious barriers.
🎯 How to get started:
Prompt: Describe your idea in natural language.
Generate: Get instant, editable UI and flows.
Iterate: Quickly explore using built-in suggestions like 'next screen', 'error states', or write a custom prompt.
Collaborate: Add unlimited teammates to iterate together.
Flowstep is entirely free to use.
🙏 Your feedback means the world to us!
Try Flowstep and share your experience. We genuinely listen and rapidly improve based on your input.
Can't wait to see what you create!

@clannachan As someone working on a SaaS tool, I’m curious: how well does Flowstep handle B2B dashboards or admin panels? Can it adapt to more complex, data-heavy layouts?
Great work, team! Excited to follow the updates. 🚀

This looks great, but how do you keep away from the pressure of feature creep pushing you to basically recreate figma?
Flowstep
Thanks @jared_scheel! Some features are table stakes (like multiplayer), but we focus on differentiating where Figma is weakest. E.g. all Flowstep designs are 1to1 with code, and already more useful than Dev Mode

This is really cool. It nailed a design from a single prompt for me but I am unable to edit the design it generated. Am I missing something obvious about how to do that? It generated a UI but it doesn't seem like I can edit the buttons/text/etc. and only re-prompt.
Flowstep
@steveb Thanks for the feedback. Manual editing is coming very soon.
Product Hunt
@karabeen ok, this is the coolest thing ever if it just generates the assets and then I can edit it
Flowstep
@steveb yep, totally agree – it's often easier (and almost always faster) to fix a few details manually rather than think about how to word a prompt ;)
Product Hunt
@karabeen make sure to post in you Product Hunt forums when it's live :-)
Flowstep
@steveb Thanks for the great feedback!
Flowstep
@steveb thank you for the comment Steve. We will definitely deliver on the design editing part!
Sharp positioning—using AI to turn text prompts into UI prototypes can shorten the design‑to‑product communication loop. Key tech questions: generation accuracy (does it follow design system rules and support interaction states?) and collaboration efficiency (can it connect to Figma/codebases with version control?). If it delivers high‑fidelity output and integrates with existing toolchains, it could boost early‑stage product exploration efficiency. Following.

Looks awesome and very useful! Is there a way to import existing styles from Figma? Brand styles, etc?
Flowstep
@artmadiar Thanks for your support. Styles and components import is something we're looking to do next.
Flowstep
@artmadiar thank you! Coming soon 🙌
Flowstep
@artmadiar anything else that could make the experience better for you?
Flowstep
@artmadiar Thank you! We will start working on it as soon as possible!

Congrats on the launch @clannachan!
Flowstep
@tonyb thank you!!
Flowstep
@clannachan @tonyb
Thank you Tony!
Flowstep
@tonyb thanks!
Flowstep
@tonyb Thank you 🙏
OMG!
I cannot wait to see what you guys do with this - just built a process flow for a mobile app & the screens.
I'm currently working on two apps in Lovable, and this is going to help so much.
Will there be an option to upload images/color palettes, etc?
That would be super helpful for things that are already in progress or to preselect colors, images, etc .to provide a mockup to a customer.
I'll be sharing this with my email list!
Flowstep
@kim_doyal thanks for the great feedback! Styles and components is something we're looking to do next
@clannachan Fantastic! I'm FLOORED at what was created out of the gate.
Shared it with 3 friends this morning already!
