Floodtide makes keeping my Macs updated a pleasure where it used to be a chore. Apps are updated more frequently now since a lot of development has shifted to AI. Almost daily or even multiple times per day is the norm now. Floodtide has neatly replaced 3-4 separate "update" apps and hand-rolled systems I was using before. MacUpdater was my main go-to before they announced they were sunsetting the product. Also used Latest, Updatest, Homebrew, and some custom updater scripts... now Floodtide handles all of that from one nice looking interface. I love that 99% of the time you don't even have to deal with the app's own updater or installer- this used to slow me down a lot because MacUpdater would just offer to launch the app's pkg installer and I would have to click "next, next, next, yes, accept, enter password, next...". I also really appreciate the safety features like being able to opt-out of beta tracks or roll back to previous versions. The dev is approachable and responds to feedback and suggestions, so Floodtide has been getting better quickly too. Love this app and hope it has a long and successful life!
Thank you for your kind feedback. I am planning on releasing weekly updates instead of daily. The reason there are daily updates right now is due to the fact that Floodtide is still new and I believe an app like Floodtide needs daily maintenance in it's early stages.
