My yet another web attempt - Globally, millions of working web ideas already exist, another set of millions under development probably and several millions highly likely in peoples minds currently at infancy stages. Based on basic probablity laws, only a tiny percentage of this actually survive and make it till the launch and among those only few generate traffic and a handful generate revenue if at all. I would say this is extremely common and applies to any form of entrepreneurship. Even to companies like google where only around 1% of products they develop are successful while the rest are either experimental or just survive because of brand value that the above 1% has generated. Entrepreneurship to me is precisely just about attempting to develop and to gift new things to the planet; especially coming up with something that doesn't exist and bringing in a shift to how the world functions. To me, in a way its the responsibility of an entrepreneur to change things in the world - probably the most satisfying role in the world. While this is not to say the business and financials aspect of it is not important. Financial goals are obviously the key for any business, but certainly the innovation element is ahead at all times especially if you are looking for that "deeply satisfying" moment. My thoughts under current market conditions are that we should really be exploring experimental business ideas as many as possible; while taking care to ensure your investment is at the absolute lowest. probably in the range of $100-$500 for each product you develop (especially web). That way , your chance of failing is higher for each product as it is experimental. But over time in long run in an iterative approach when we attempt that over 10 or 20 times for example, that would enable atleast 1 of your product to be extremely successful while also giving you the satisfaction of delivering to the world 20 or so innovative and experimental products regardless of its success. Above all, with lowest investment. I know, its just me being too ambitious, this is me just putting down my thoughts in product hunt records as i keep attempting and trying something that makes me happy. One of my most recent attempt is http://flockstorm.com - its an online brainstorming website. Check out http://www.flockstorm.com/how-it... and let me know your thoughts. Lets stay positive and lets keep attempting with our next. One day all of your efforts will pay off! Good Luck
