FlatRateKit started with a simple problem: small HVAC shops often know they need flat-rate pricing, but the spreadsheet work gets complicated fast. I wanted to make the first pass easier—use your own labor, parts, overhead, markup, and margin assumptions, then turn the result into a practical price-book starting point. It’s intentionally not a CRM or a national price database. I’d especially value feedback from contractors who have moved from time-and-material pricing.
