The critical issue is mixed-DPI setups: when the secondary monitor is 2K or higher, screenshots can come out wrong, shifted region, incorrect scale, or a broken capture. Recent updates improved this a bit, but it still isn’t as reliable as it was in the early days. Fixing HiDPI / mixed-DPI (for example 1080p primary + 2K/4K secondary), especially on Linux, would make Flameshot the default screenshot tool rather than “the one I recommend with a caveat.”
