We built Fjord because the choice was bad in both directions: hand your source to a platform you don't control, or run your own Git server and become its sysadmin. Fjord is managed Forgejo. Your own instance on its own VM, in the EU, US, or Singapore, and we handle the patching, backups, and CI runners. You keep the ownership; we take the operations. The iOS app is the piece we wanted for ourselves. Reviewing a PR shouldn't require a laptop.
