Firstlight turns quitting porn into a 90 day journey. Every clean day lifts a sun higher in your sky. Block trigger apps with Screen Time, beat urges with science-backed tools, and follow a plan built from your answers. No account. Private by design.

Hey Product Hunt 👋
I’m a solo founder building in public.
A few weeks ago I left my engineering leadership role to go all in on building micro SaaS products. Firstlight is the one I care about the most.
FirstLight is built around a simple idea: quitting isn’t about punishment. It’s an investment in yourself.
A few things that make it different:
🌅 Your streak is the sky.
You start at a starry midnight. Every clean day raises the sun a little higher. By day 90, the rewiring milestone, you’ve reached full daylight. Your progress is something you can actually see.
🛡 Real app blocking.
Lockdown uses Apple’s Screen Time technology to block your trigger apps for 30 minutes or until the next morning. Sometimes a little friction is all you need to break the cycle.
🌊 Tools for the moments that matter.
Urge Surfing, a 10 minute delay timer, HALT check-ins, and your own if-then plan. They’re there when you need them most, not buried in a menu.
🟩 Honest progress tracking.
A GitHub-style contribution grid. Green days and red days. Nothing gets erased. A slip isn’t failure, it’s feedback. Your total clean days always keep growing.
🔒 Private by default.
No account. No email. No sign up. Everything stays on your device and your own private iCloud. I can’t see your data, and that’s exactly how I wanted it.
The free version includes everything you need to get started: streaks, check-ins, the calendar, and the core urge tools.
Pro unlocks Lockdown, the full toolkit, and a guided 90 day recovery plan.
I’d genuinely love your feedback, whether it’s good or bad. Every comment helps me make Firstlight better.
Thanks for checking it out ❤️
A sun rising in the sky is such a cool visual, love that idea. One thing that would really help me stick with it though is a simple way to log what triggered an urge when one hits, so the plan can actually adjust over time instead of staying static after the first day.
