Firegate is an inline network security device that sits between your modem and router. It inspects and filters traffic in real time using Suricata, without relying on cloud services. Everything runs locally: IPS, DNS filtering, and threat blocking. No cloud. No data collection. No subscriptions. One surprise while building it was how much probing hits a normal home network.
