Hey PH! I built FinX because every finance app I tried either required a cloud account, sold my data, or paywalled basic features. FinX starts fully offline — no signup, no server, no cloud. Just open it and start tracking. If you want sync or bank import, you can connect your own self-hosted backend and get Pro features for free. The latest release (v1.0.8) ships hardware-geofenced location reminders — it detects when you leave a store and reminds you to log the purchase. Uses ~95% less battery than traditional approaches by offloading detection to the OS geofencing chip instead of continuous GPS polling.
