Hey Product Hunt! π
As a perfume decant seller, I often get asked, βCan you recommend me perfume for office?β or "In a few days, I need to attend wedding, can you recommend me?" I noticed the same pattern on social media: people usually know the feeling, occasion, or impression they want, but they do not always know the fragrance terms or where to start.
That inspired the original FindMyScent. FindMyScent 2.0 is a major improvement: it turns everyday natural language into personalized perfume recommendations from a curated catalog of fragrances available in Indonesia.
What makes it different is the consultation flow. Many perfume recommenders rely on fixed questionnaires, while FindMyScent 2.0 tries to understand what the user actually means. When important information is missing, it asks focused follow-up questions instead of forcing users through a long form.
The result is not just a list of products. Users receive a Best Match, responsible alternatives, explanations, possible trade-offs, and confidence indicators. They can also refine their preferences and rerun the recommendation, so the experience does not stop after the first result.
I built this from a real problem I experience as a seller, and I would love to hear how you normally choose a perfume and what would make a recommendation feel trustworthy to you.
