👋 Hi Guys
I'm excited to share FinCalc—a free collection of 40+ financial calculators that run entirely in your browser with no signup required.
I built it because I was constantly switching between different calculator websites and spreadsheets whenever I needed to:
• Calculate CAGR and investment returns
• Project SIP growth
• Estimate mortgage and loan payments
• Run DCF valuations
• Plan retirement/FIRE
• Estimate taxes and much more
My goal was simple: put all these tools in one fast, privacy-friendly place.
I'd love your feedback:
Which calculator do you find most useful?
Which financial calculator is missing?
What would make FinCalc even better?
Thanks for checking it out! 😊
Genuinely curious how you keep this free without ads or any data harvesting, what is the actual catch here or is it just a passion project living off donations?
@filizaltuniu43 Thanks buddy. It is my hobby project and it does not cost me anything yet. It is hosted on cloudflare pages so no cost. I like to share my resource and love to my fellow community as a gesture of staying together and grow together.
Since you mentioned data harvesting, i can assure you there in no data harvesting in my side, cause it is a static site there is no backend.
Thanks for your comment buddy. It means a lot to me.
How do you handle accuracy for things like DCF and tax estimates since there's no way to pull in current rates or brackets?
@nazlcan1396490 Hello Nazlican. I am sorry to say DCF valuation works on your input data, it does not automatically puts EPS, Terminal growth rate, Outstanding share count from any stock exchance. You can check the data from your official stock exchange and put them in DCF calculator it will give you a result. This is same for Tax estimate. But i will update Tax bracket from time too time when new Tax bracket will declare.
Thanks for your concern. It will help me to refine this product and maybe add some new feature as time goes.
The client-side approach is a nice touch, makes me feel less sketched out about plugging in real numbers. Punched through the DCF and mortgage calculators and both gave clean instant results without any sign-up friction. Wish more finance tools worked like this.
@tunahan198585 Thanks Tunahan for your support. I will give my best to this project and provide you guys with real value and insight what other finance calculator lacks.
