How does it actually handle the processing, is everything done locally in the browser or do the files get uploaded to a server? That matters a lot for sensitive docs.

Fillora PDF is built with a privacy-first approach. Many of our core tools process files directly in your browser, which means your documents stay on your device and are not uploaded to our server for those browser-based tools.
For features that need server-side processing, we only keep files temporarily and automatically delete generated files within 1 hour. Our goal is to keep PDF processing fast, lightweight, and as private as possible while being transparent about how each tool works.
