Hi there! I'm Sorin, the developer of Figxit.
I used Fig for its terminal autocomplete. Fig was shut down in 2024, and its autocomplete now lives inside Kiro CLI, an AI agent tool that needs a login. I wanted the autocomplete on its own, so I built it.
What it does:
Completes subcommands and options for git, docker, npm, kubectl and 700+ other CLIs, each with a short description
Completes your own Makefile targets and package.json scripts
Puts the command you run most in a folder first (this part needs Atuin for the history)
It's free and open source under the MIT licence. There's no account. The only network request is a daily update check, and you can turn it off.
No Linux or Windows yet.
Which shell and terminal do you use? That decides what I support next.
