Hi Product Hunt, I'm the maker of FieldPix.
I built it alongside a solar installer whose crews were spending their evenings typing up site notes and digging through camera rolls for the right photo. So FieldPix does two things well: it files every photo to the right job with the date, time and location burned in, and it writes the notes for you. Walk the site, talk through what you see and snap photos, and you get notes for every area with the photos under each one and a list of follow-ups.
From the same job you can run a checklist (16 are built in, for solar, roofing, HVAC and inspections), send a PDF report with your logo, get an agreement signed on your phone and take the payment, including Tap to Pay on iPhone.
What it doesn't do: it doesn't measure from photos, and it never sends anything to a client without you reviewing it first.
Pricing is per company, not per seat: $49.99 a month for up to 5 people, $99.99 for unlimited, and every feature is on both plans. AI is included with no credits to buy; fair-use limits apply. 14 days free, and the web trial needs no card.
It works on iPhone, iPad and Android, with a web portal for the office, in English and Spanish.
I'd love to hear from anyone who runs a crew: what's the most annoying part of documenting a job today?
