Transcription and intelligence generation happen entirely on the user's Apple Silicon Mac. Audio exists only in volatile memory and is destroyed the moment structured notes are produced. This is not a feature. It is the product.
The local-first approach is genuinely refreshing compared to all the cloud-based note takers out there. One thing that would make it even better for me: support for system-wide audio capture so it can transcribe things like YouTube interviews or Zoom calls without needing a special integration on the other end.
